Brrrrrrr, all 28+ volunteers (one for each degree of temperature!) gave thanks for the sunshine! Inside was a good place to start our Habitat construction day, so many of us painted, painted and painted, inside and outside on the Tort's family house. There were few hiccups, (ask Ronald and then stand back)! Cabinets started, (had to have plumbing re-do), installed registers, more fencing and did I say painting. Families with us today were Anthony, Briana & Iris.
Lunch was a real treat. Bible Explorers Sunday class from Acton United Methodist, served pepperoni pizza, veggie tray, great tossed salad, and outstanding brownies, cookies & candies. There was Christmas Music and the servers wore Santa Hats! Very, very special! Thank you so much.
