As Ronald Barrett began the morning prayer, the rain, which had stopped for several hours, began again. It was a rainy, rainy Saturday. The group worked on 3308 Tumbleweed (Briana's house). By 9:45 AM, 24 volunteers had arrived, including 9 from NHS, Blair, Richard, Kali, Britton, Charles, Bobby, Caitlyn, Amy, & David. One new volunteer, Erin Hill, was working for Briana. Families working: Briana Monroe, Iris Vega and Al Juarez.
A total of 29 volunteers enjoyed today's lunch provided by Todd & Jimmie Matthews. It consisted of delicious Ham & Turkey Sandwiches, Sliced Tomatoes and Shredded Lettuce, and Assorted Chips. (Assorted cookies were provided by the lunch team members).
