It was a beautiful day to work and dedicate a house! Thank you to everyone who volunteered today, including the 14 Granbury High School National Honor Society students: Tim, Tyler, Connor, Katie, Jessica, Charles, Dominic, Emily, Tyler, Jackie, Quade, Alee, Cameron, and Alex. Three Habitat families were working today: Vicky Schafroth for Al Bacardi, Rosa Espinoza, and Al and Iris Juarez.
Today's lunch consisted of ham, macaroni & cheese, baked beans, salad, french bread and cookies. It was provided by members of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Several teenagers assisted with both the preparation and the meal service.
Al and Iris were beaming with joy as we dedicated their house today. Congratulations!! Many thanks to Community Bank for sponsoring this 60th Habitat house built in Hood County! It was a treat to see so many Community Bank employees at the house dedication. Thank you for your support!
