Construction Report for Wednesday, May 23, 2012

A beautiful morning for 32 volunteers, including new family member Marnye.  Most of the work today was outside, as installers were doing the flooring in Rosa's house.  The fence was finished and existing underground pipes were marked as the power company and plumbers will be digging trenches very soon.  Touch-up paint done on the exterior.  Bathroom vanities were moved in after the flooring crew finished, so the plumbers can now finish also.  Blinds were installed.

The tool and storage sheds were successfully moved to the newly leveled corner lot.  The Green Team kept busy picking up the lots as the sheds moved.

Wednesday's Lunch was by Barbara Clark's Wednesday "Lunch Bunch",  Barbara, Ruby, Sandy and Shirley.  We had Mexican today, with Tamales, Mild and Spicy, Mexican Salad, Chips, Cookies and Cake.  Thank You girls.  The Wednesday Lunch Bunch will see you in the Fall.

Next Saturday:  Sod will be laid and a few other details will be taken care of to essentially finish the house.  It is obviously a holiday weekend, but if you have some time in the morning, please stop by.  Sod goes SO MUCH FASTER with an adequate crew!  Look for a dedication date in June.

To the rest of you, Thank You for your diligent work this year, and we'll see you on September 5th!

I know, the finger is not supposed to be there!
