We had wonderful weather in the mid-70s today to put up the first walls on the 100th Habitat home in Hood CountyHood County News was on site to take photos to commemorate the event.  Homeowners working today were Marie, Tony, Tony Jr., and William.  It was great to see so many volunteers wearing the red 100th home t-shirt.  Make sure you stop by to pick up yours and wear it to celebrate Habitat for Humanity of Hood County.  Many thanks to volunteer Larry Swift for designing the 100th home t-shirt!

Lunch today was brought by The 7th Day Adventist Church. Brisket/BBQ sauce, Bean, Potato Salad, Mac and Cheese, Cole Slaw, Green Salad, and Corn Bread.  Dessert was Apple and Peach Cobblers, Chocolate Cake, and Cookies.  We served 50 today.  Thank you Pastor Danny, Beth, Bob and Anita, Bob and Linda.  Good to have Wayne Bogan helping to serve today.  Many red t-shirts worn.

Thank you volunteers, families, donors, and supporters for being a part of Habitat for Humanity of Hood County.  We may be a small Habitat affiliate, but we are mighty!  For over 20 years God has provided a way to build homes in Granbury for 100 families, and counting.  Thank you!!

January 31st is the last day of the annual Matching Funds Campaign.  Send your checks in today!
