We had 19 construction volunteers, 6 office volunteers and 1 lunch volunteer working today.
On house #120 we are getting ready for dedication and had a busy busy day. On the outside we cut the existing grass and laid the sod in the front yard along with a band of sod around the house. We also placed rocks along the road. Inside the house we installed the microwave oven, the dishwasher, the refrigerator, the range, and the washer and drier. We did touch up and general cleaning on the inside of the house.
On house #121 Although the main thrust today was on house #120 we did get a lot accomplished, we did the prep work installing backer board so we can start the tile surround for the tub on Saturday and we continued with the HVAC work in the attic.
Lunch was provided by the First Presbyterian Church of Granbury.
