Opening day of the 2022-2023 build season was supported by 27 volunteers (including one home owner, five office workers, and two lunch workers). We all performed a complete pre-build for Jimmy & Maria’s home, and built the first wall. It was hot and humid, but the volunteers pressed on thanks to a great lunch and outstanding fellowship.
Next work day is Saturday 9/10/22 at 0800 at the warehouse. Hope to see you there.
Many extreme thanks to Granbury First Methodist (Micki Bezant) for providing our first lunch post-covid! The loaded baked potatoes, salads and deserts including Mike's birthday cake were VERY much appreciated!
