30 volunteers (including 7 home owners and 2 lunch workers) joined us in a prebuild for Chuey & Deysi’s home at 4002 Sundown Tr, and installing the dishwasher, and making repairs at Kendra’s home.
A spirited group from Pecan Baptist Church brought a delicious lunch that was really enjoyed after a long, cold morning’s work. This was our last work day until after Thanksgiving Week.
Our next Habitat workday will be Wednesday, 11/30/22 when we’ll mark the slab at 4002, and work on finishing Jimmy & Maria’s home.

We all offered prayers for Sallye on the passing of Ed Vela. He was a wonderful person to his family, his Church, Habitat, his community, and his many friends. We all loved and respected Ed. Services will be at 2:00 at AUMC on 12/05/22.
We’ve got a bunch of sick volunteers, and we hope our Thanksgiving break will give them time to recover. Have a great Thanksgiving.
