#113 3307 Tumbleweed Lane
#114 4002 Sundown Trail
#115 4004 Sundown Trail

We had 23 volunteers (including 1 home owner, 4 office workers, and 1 lunch helper) work on Jimmy & Maria's home and Chuy & Deysi’s home.

On 3307, we cleared the electrician’s boxes, added faucet covers, spread dirt in preparation for fencing, and prepared for flooring which begins tomorrow.

On 4002, we installed sheathing, top plate, marked locations for joists/rafters, built and installed the porch header, and cut joists for installation next work day. John and his crew trimmed Mary’ trees and hauled off the waste. Paul replaced a defective sensor in the warehouse lighting system in addition to doing the lunch dishes for a wonderful feast provided by the 1st United Methodist Church of Granbury. Great work day, a great volunteer group, a wonderful opportunity to serve the community.

Special prayers go out to the Habitat family, Ruby Derrick, Mike’s friend, Roger Morgan, and all those unspoken, but intense concerns. See you Saturday 0900 at the warehouse. By the way, Melliton Torres rebuilt Mary’s mailbox, and Abel set up the forms on 4404, while Henson’s dropped off a roof load and rebar.
