#115 4004 Sundown Trail
21 volunteers (plus 5 office workers and 1 lunch helper) worked on Jose & Sierra’s home (4004) and Chuy & Deysi’s home (4002). On 4004, we constructed and raised walls. On 4002, we worked on the interior, and build corners, and marked Locations for siding. The roof on 4002 will be shingled by Crown Quality Roofing. Larry Riggins and his crew are long time Habitat supporters. The rough-in plumbing will be accomplished on 4008 by Herman Pruitt Plumbing, also a long time supporter. We had another new volunteer today, Brenda who was a joy to work with. Walt came out, still recovering from his tendon surgery, but looking good. Speaking of looking good, Rafael & Andrea came out to be with us (Rafael is recovering from his kidney transplant).
Paul’s brother’s brother-in-law, Bob passed away, Larry’s wife, Sharon is having hip surgery, and Mike is having a bunch of dental work done. These prayer concerns are combined with many others for our attention.
Lunch was provided by the Mixey Chicks, a cooking club. They brought us a huge, delicious lunch. They were supported by a bunch of their spouses.
St Frances Cabrini Catholic Church is having their annual fish fry every Friday 5:00-7:00PM during Lent (starting this Friday). They have always generously shared proceeds with local charities including Habitat. The public is invited. Please support them as much as possible (and wear a Habitat shirt, if you can). Next work day will be Saturday 2/25/33.
