25 volunteers plus 1 lunch worker participated in developing our 3 homes. We also had a great lunch provided by Pecan Baptist Church.
Preceding the lunch we had a note burning party for the Solis family. We had constructed their home with them in the winter of 2003 at the Ball Park in Arlington, and then had it moved to Granbury. They have paid it off, and still live in it. It was wonderful seeing them burn the mortgage note they worked so hard to pay off.
After lunch, we completed our work day accomplishing the following:
4002 - hauled brush, painted tree cuts, built closet and pantry shelves, and cleaned for flooring installation.
4004 - hauled away trash in preparation for insulation, and installed HVAC equipment.
4006 - installed jack rafters, cut tails, installed collar ties, rat runs, hog backs, and purlins, attached sub fascia and lookouts.
Prayer concerns as listed, but also praises for Aurora’s progress, Walter’s return today, Pete’s progress, and Al’s return. Paul was injured at home yesterday, but is better today. Please keep praying for all of our people. Every one of us needs it. see you Wednesday.
