#116 4006 Sundown Trail
#117 4008 Sundown Trail

We had 23 construction volunteers work on Senlly’s home (4006) and Erik & Brittany’s home (4008). On 4006, we undercut the doors, getting ready to floor. John had already installed door knobs. On 4008, we marked top plate, built headers, squared the walls, sheathed, string-lined, nailed down, and braced the walls. Jimmy had leveled more parking area for us. We had a new volunteer, Mike, who did a great job helping us build. Peter ran the Ft Worth Marathon in 3hrs 36 mins.

We had a wonderful praise passed on from Walt. His son, Wade was operated on to remove a mass in his spinal cord that had been filmed in 5 MRI’s, but when the doctors opened him up, the mass was gone - what a miracle. Walt says thanks for all the prayers. Wade will be recovering from the surgery and fusion, so he’ll need your continued prayers. Please keep praying for all our people on our prayer list and others in need. Lunch was served by the Granbury Presbyterian Church along with our lunch helpers. Bill led a group all morning getting out the Habitat Newsletter. Henry built plenums, and made HVAC plans for continuing builds. The celebration of life service for Virginia Conner will be at 1100 Friday, November 17 at Granbury Presbyterian Church. Bill Jackson’s service is tentatively set up for 2 o’clock at Wiley’s December 9th (more info will follow).

Next Wednesday,11/22, will be cancelled to allow Habitat people to celebrate Thanksgiving. We will be back at work on Saturday 11/25.
