#116 4006 Sundown Trail
#117 4008 Sundown Trail

A busy, great day at Habitat today with 23 construction volunteers aided by 35 high school engineering/construction students and their teacher we built walls, the porch header, cut hips, ridge, and other parts. We also installed the porch header. We’ve still got a few walls to go.

We also toured the students through our 3 BR home that is in the dry, answering questions about design and construction posed by students and their instructor.

Kathy set up a great lunch for all of us combining deserts from volunteers and pizza funded by the school and volunteer donations. Work continued into the afternoon. The weather was beautiful. We also had 5 office workers that jumped in with 3 lunch helpers to make the lunch event happen. It was a wonderful work day.

Please continue praying for Walt’s son Wade who is having a preop session on Nov 10th, and surgery on Nov 14th for cancer. Pray for Connie as she recovers. Roger asked for prayers for Adele. David for Karen. As you can see, we’ve got a lot to pray about. Please consider our posted concerns and those that we may not be aware of. Hope to see you Saturday. It will be fun.
