#116 4006 Sundown Trail
#117 4008 Sundown Trail

24 site volunteers, joined by 5 festive office workers, 2 lunch helpers, and a partridge in a pear tree worked on 4006 (Senlly) and 4008 (Erik & Brittany).

On 4008, we covered the decking with synthetic underlayment and added metal edging. It will be roofed later by Larry Riggin’s crew at Crown Quality Roofing

On 4006, we finished baseboards, installed door stops, worked on cabinets/counter tops, toe kick, door seals, caulking, and painting. We also moved the A/C compressor to the back yard, and began the final fencing. The location for the mail box was determined and Meliton from Affordable Rock will create another beautiful donation.

Lunch was provided by our friends at Granbury First United Methodist Church (the Scripture Study Class).

Tomorrow, 4006 will have the attic blown in, and final plumbing installed by Pruitt Plumbing. Today, Jimmy left the site to celebrate his daughter’s acceptance into Lambda Epsilon Chi (national honor society in legal studies). Gloria will graduate from TSU this coming Saturday.

On Saturday 12/16, after our Habitat Work Day at 1230, we’ll dedicate Senlly’s home. Please come, work, and celebrate.
