We had a group of fine workers from Constellation Power Plant that also provided a wonderful lunch from Grumps. In addition, we were joined by 5 office workers and a lunch helper. We all worked on 4006 (Senlly) and 4008 (Erik & Brittany).
On 4006, our flooring team finished installing luxury vinyl doing an outstanding job. This team spent many extra days making this happen. Thank you.
On 4008, we finished the sub fascia, installed the look outs and the fascia, while another group put up purlins and hogbacks. We began decking the roof. The house is really taking shape.
We also discussed future development of the Habitat neighborhood with County officials. This next Habitat Work Day, Saturday 12/09/24, is really special. Not only do we have a lot to construct, we also have a lot to celebrate. As you know, Bill Jackson, a long time volunteer/ contributor, passed away. His daughters have set up a celebration of life party for Bill at Wiley’s, and planned for it to start after we finish work , enabling us to wear our work clothes to the celebration. It will start at 2:00 PM being a come and go environment until 4:00 PM. I hope you will plan your day to drop by and honor Bill’s passing.
