Today we had 21 construction volunteers, 5 office workers, and 3 lunch helpers working. The Granbury United Methodist Church Scripture Study Class brought us a great lunch with all kinds of soups to warm us on a beautiful, cool day, as well as wonderful sides, and fantastic deserts.
On 4006 (Senlly), Peter finished repairing sheet rock. We also got confirmation on appliances coming for the home.
On 4008 (Erik & Nichole), we continued siding, trimmed windows, reinstalled a door and window, Henry and Allen worked their HVAC magic in the attic, and John and his crew installed porch trim. Jimmy did a bunch of work including draining water off the lot. Cindy installed bolts in both strong rooms. David, Pat, Becky, Molly, and a bunch of others worked tirelessly. (I made the mistake of mentioning a few volunteers without pointing out that all of the volunteers were marvelous, and we really appreciate their dedication, each and every one - even Roger).
