Our 40+ volunteers were sorta giddy today! Could it be because it was the last work day until September?!! Had a beautiful breeze along with the warmish weather; good ol summer time trying to sneak in. The "tree lady", Carrie Smith, with the Texas Forest Service brought two big beautiful red oaks from the CrossTimbers Urban Forestry Council for the front yard of Amanda McNeese; they were immediately planted and look so great.
We are done for this season, so see you in September!
First Christian Church provided us with some great sandwiches, various kinds of chips and lots of brownies. Thank you so much!
Amanda McNeese will have her home dedicated on
Saturday, May 28 at 1:00 PM.
