A nice cloudy day helped keep the heat down. We had a short day for our volunteers as the contractors were out there doing their thing. Afforable Rock was building stone mailboxs, two septic systems were going in, dirt was bing moved to support that, and sheet rockers started. Rosa's shed was started, and touch up paint and shutters put on the front. It was good to see Rosa on a Wednesday. The bulk of our 30 volunteers were under Paul Beckman's charge, working on the jungle lots! (See photos!)
Lots of photos today, as we have not seen those septic tanks going in before!
We had a Pizza party today for lunch with 2 kinds of Pizza's, a healthy Green Salad, Cookies and Brownies. The Explorers Class/AUMC/Ed and Sallye Vela were the providers today. Served 40, as some of our contractors joined us.
A big Thank You to the Angel or Angel's that cleaned out the Refrigerator in our lunch room.
NEXT SATURDAY PLEASE COME WITH GLOVES, LONG PANTS, AND LONG SLEEVES IF YOU CAN, AS WE NEED LOTS OF HELP IN THE "FORESTED" AREA.
According to the bosses, it will be a "light construction" and "heavy Green Team" day, probably finishing by lunch!

Let's see how much of the shed we can do in one day....
Pools?? No, hole for septic tank.
This is our new "forested" lot area.
Don't let Steve tell you he "NEVER" works with the Green Team!
Back to work after lunch.
This is BY FAR the most we have ever done on a shed in one day!
