22 volunteers (including 2 home owners) plus 5 office workers participated in a great day creating Jimmy and Maria’s home. We exposed plumbing pipes for the electric company, plywooded the strong room, and started the shed.
Due to forecast wet conditions Saturday morning, the 10/29/22 work day is cancelled.
Lunch was provided by the Scripture Study Sunday School Class of 1st United Methodist Church. It was great.
We also had a presentation by three representatives of Premier Homes. They gave HFH of Hood Co a donation that will be used as part of the matching funds in this year’s fund raiser. Premier has been supporting us for years by giving funds for each home they build. Ashley from the Hood Co News covered the event.
