#113  3307 Tumbleweed Ln.

22 construction volunteers (including 2 home owners) plus 5 office volunteers, 4 lunch workers, 29 high school students with one outstanding teacher painted Jimmy & Maria’s home(2 coats), roofed and sided the shed, staked out a new slab, and worked in the office.

Lunch was provided to the students through the efforts of Kathy Gwinn, and First United Methodist Church brought the other volunteers a wonderful lunch.

The students not only painted and worked, but also were taught principles of construction by their teacher. The construction class has visited Habitat in previous years, and has always been a great help in completing our ministry. Last visit, they marked out wall dimensions for an upcoming home.

Next work day will be this Saturday (11/05/22). Hope to see you there.
