As this report is being put together, Raphael is having kidney transplant surgery. All of the Habitat Family is praying for boundless success and peace for the family. We thank God for all He has done in all of our lives.
At 3307 today, we had 18 volunteers (plus 5 office workers and 2 lunch people). A lot of cleaning, like all of the bathroom, including tub/shower, sink, water heater closet, the attic, windows, and boxes were hauled off. The refrigerator was installed, kick plate nailed, 1/4 round installed, broken window fixed, changed out a broken light fixture, and touched up the front and back doors.
At 4002, the home was wrapped, and preparations made for future construction. Lunch was provided by the Granbury Presbyterian Church and included a great serving of ice cream and brownies and cake. Paul and Roger did a wonderful job of leading. In addition to our prayers for the Elizondo family, we ask grace for David’s wife, Jan, lee, and our other needy friends.
See you Saturday, 1/21/23 0900 at the warehouse for a morning of work followed by lunch and dedication of 3307 Tumbleweed Lane at 1230.
