#116 4006 Sundown Trail
We had 23 construction volunteers, 4 office workers, and 3 lunch helpers at work today. A great lunch was provided by Papa Johns Pizza.
We once again focused on Jose & Sierra’s home, planting grass seed, raking the yard, painting and installing the shutters, finishing the base boards, installing countertops, door stops, blinds, door knobs, hose holders, appliances, bathroom fixtures, and repairing/ cleaning floors.
Byron and his crew had finished the shed, and Henry worked his HVAC magic along with Jay from Burdette’s Heating and Air. This week Randall Scott will connect the septic system, Pruitt’s Plumbing will finish off the plumbing, PJ’s will make a flower bed, and John Mears’ Co will install gutters.
Maybe we can have this home ready for the new baby.
Prayer requests: Ruby and Randall, Jimmy’s Dad who is recovering from influenza in rehab, Larry Pope’s Mom, who is also recovering in rehab, Ed Manning who has a spiral fracture of his fibula, and the rest of the old volunteers that are falling apart, but still seem to be hanging in there.
See you Saturday.
