#115 4004 Sundown Trail

We had 19 construction volunteers, a special guest for lunch, and a bunch of family members on site. We focused on Jose & Sierra’s home in hope of getting it finished as soon as possible for the arrival of their new baby. We painted the exterior of the home, installed blinds, built cabinets, installed base boards, delivered mail box components, installed the vanity, and hooked up the watering system for the grass.

G&G Electric installed wiring on 4006. Lunch was provided by Senlly’s family and was a big hit. A long- time friend/volunteer dropped in for lunch today Evelyn Guerin started with Habitat back in the 90’s by traveling to Ft Worth to learn how to build homes. She went on to become not only an outstanding construction volunteer, but also our first bookkeeper. It was great to spend lunch together. Senlly had her extended family out, and Jose’s brother, Alex worked too.

Please pray for Larry’s Mother, and Jimmy’s Dad, and all of our families. Hope to see you Wednesday.
