20 volunteers, including Bella and Edwardo (new), worked on Senlly’s home (4006) building fence, patching floor covering, and moving and building the shed. On Erik & Brittany’s home (4008), we finished the prebuild while Abel got the foundation ready for cement on Tuesday. We also moved all the materials away from between the houses to allow the cement trucks access to the foundation. Paul led a group surveying future sites. We installed long-lost screens on Chuy & Deysi’s and Jose & Sierra ‘s home.
Asa brought us a BBQ dinner and German Chocolate Cake for lunch, and said he just wanted to give back to the people that had reached out to help his family. Thanks Asa. Linda and Carolyn helped serve lunch. We enjoyed a beautiful eclipse, and thanked God for EJ’s return to Granbury, and renewed our previous requests as noted previously. Next work day will be Wednesday. Hope to see you then.
