#115 4004 Sundown Trail
#116 4006 Sundown Trail
#117 4008 Sundown Trail
20 volunteers including 4 office workers and 2 lunch helpers worked on 4004 (Jose & Sierra), 4006 (Senlly), and 4008 (Erik & Brittany) led by Roger (who turned 79 today).
On 4008, we continued the prebuild by making headers, Ts, corners, etc. while Abel prepped the pad for cement.
On 4006, we worked on the fence, finishing the top rail and fabric. The sheet rockers were taping and bedding. Byron’s crew continued work on the shed.
On 4004, we installed screens that had been back ordered. Paul did some survey work on a future lot. John and Mike mowed the warehouse grounds.
A huge lunch was prepared for us by the Women in the Bible prayer group from Triple Cross cowboy Church.
Prayers went out for EJ’s surgery (which we later heard went well). We all continue to pray for a quick and pain free recovery. Walt told us of his son Wade’s fight with cancer, and his upcoming surgery on the 17th of October. While praying for Wade, please pray for Walt who plans on keeping the business going during the recovery. Larry’s Mom is hanging in there. Mike’s family friend, Gladys K could use our prayers. We also prayed for the Middle East and all of our Habitat Family. See you Wednesday.
