It was a little on the cool side, but 35 volunteers began building House #66, the Community Bank sponsored home. Carey Gentry presented 66 shirts to volunteers! Homeowners working included Marnye Dickerson, and with her Jessi Dickerson and Carl and Cathy Livingston.

Not
only did Community Bank clothe us (really great House 66 t-shirts),
they fed us, too. Bank employees brought and served two kinds of
chilies with all the fixins’, piping hot beef soup with cornbread, and
brownies and cakes for dessert. It was the perfect lunch after such a
cold morning. Thank you Community Bank for all you do for Habitat for
Humanity of Hood County!
We also welcomed back Elsie Tallant.
